What a Week!!

These last few days have flown by and have been filled with activity. Here is a brief insight:

Sonya:
-Was in the kitchen by 7am each day
-Has accepted a hairnet as a new fashion accessory
-Served 325 breakfast sausage
-bonding with the industrial can opener
-made 375 grilled cheese sandwiches on rye bread...buttering both sides of the bread and adding the cheese by hand...whew...LOL...only took 2 hrs and 10 min!
-experienced the permanent breakdown of our commercial dishwasher..which resulted in 2 of us washing and drying dishes for over 3 hrs...and the decision to use paper products for the rest of the week!
-hand stuffed and rolled 375 burritos
-had a great prayer meeting with the staff last night.

David:
-swept and mopped dining room floor twice
-swept our cabins and cleaned bathrooms
-repaired severed phone line....from plumber burying internet cable
-laid new cable for internet and filled in trench in two different places
-went underground to investigate breaker
-went into crawl space under the duplex
-attended 2 staff meetings
-met with plumber and maintenance staff regarding cabin additions
-cut down and then partially removed 5 trees
-fixed door closer
-fed the camp dog
-had a great prayer meeting with the staff last night

We are abit sore and stiff, recognizing that we are no longer 35yrs old but ever so glad to be here. Knowing that it is exactly where God wants us to be!
