Bugs....

No, no it's not quite the season here for those pesky little critters to be buzzing everywhere. However it seems Sonya has caught the kind that brings a few extra aches and pains. So far it's only been chills and fever's but we think it's on it's way out. Needless to say there has been alot of sleep going on, which the cats don't mind cause they just curl up with Sonya to keep her company.

The sun has been shining here beautifully and the weather has been abit warmer...giving us hope that there is something besides -30 temperatures and Spring will be coming. At times we wish we could escape to the south or warmer temps but right now that is not in our overall "missionary budget". Since making the decision to serve full time in camp ministry we've had to look at all of life differently, even our finances.

Project Update: Shingles arrived today which means roofing is soon to happen. There are roofers being hired for this so there is no fear David tumbling off a roof. Some of the electrical and plumbing rough in is now being started on the cabins and things overall on the project are looking good. It would still be nice to see a few more volunteer groups around to pitch in.

It's been quite enjoyable to finally have our satellite TV hooked up so that we can watch sports...curling, hockey... and baseball is soon to start..yeah! We also enjoy being able to catch some good Christian programming. Those words of encouragement seem to come just when we need them.

We've had a 2 day break from groups but another one arrives tommorrow until Friday and then another men's group comes Friday until Sunday.
