Blustery and Brrrrrrrrrrr

I guess all accross this country of ours we are experiencing what it is like to be in the great white north. We really have the wind here today so it is blowing the falling snow every where. It's -26 here with NW 28km/hr winds and windchill-40 Whew!
On a day like today outside trips are few and far between for us however it never ceases to amaze us that the groups that come to retreat just bundle up and bear it. It's a family camp group this weekend so approx.80 people of all different ages and they are enjoying skating, tubing, and cross country skiing. These cold days seem extra long too!
We've been learning how to live in close community...one big family. Now if you stop to think about your own extended family you will probably be able to name that one member who can get on your nerves or just is real "unique". Well, guess what? We have those family members here at camp too! LOL! Infact some days it feels abit dysfunctional but we are trying to focus on our calling to serve God and others, rather than just what challenges us. Each day brings new learning experience and we will be glad when we have experienced a full year, all 4 seasons of ministry.
