Sunshine on My Shoulder

Makes me happy.......

Yes, it was a beautiful day, even quite warm. Thank you Lord!

Being quiet this week has allowed Sonya to begin focusing on some meal planning and the ordering processes. The budget is always a concern so it is important to try and grasp the reality of quantity food costing as soon as possible. Fortunately there are files from the last four years so these help as a reference point. There are 2 areas to concentrate on, retreats and summer kids camp. So right now is an easier time to ease into the food service responsibilties.....instead of the beginning of summer.

The cabin project continues to be a busy focus. This Friday the concrete truck arrives. It's important to have all the re-bar and sono tubes in place before the footings can be poured. (There are 63 of them on very rough and rocky terrain) Ofcourse working in the rainy weather didn't help but the rest of the week is suppose to be quite clear and dry.

Camp life is always full of activity and we love it!!
