Rain, Rain, Rain....

....and more rain. Yes, today was a full day of showers. There are a few serious puddles around camp.
This has made working on the project interesting. David has been busy by digging holes, drilling in granite for rebar, and doing general preparations for pouring concrete for the columns that will hold up the decks and additions on seven cabins. Remember that everything is built on rock out here so this is a real fun learning curve....especially when it comes to building and putting in plumbing for washrooms.
NOT A FLAT SURFACE ANYWHERE!!!
This weekend will continue to be busy as one group leaves tomorrow after lunch, then we have a staff meeting, and then another small group arrives tomorrow night until Sunday afternoon.
One factor of serving weekend retreat groups is that we miss Sunday morning church. As staff we meet together on Thursday nights for a small group time....kindof like mini church. Truthfully this is the biggest adjustment...we miss our church. (hint...hint...if someone would like to donate to IPC so that they can put the audio of their sermons online this would be awesome!)
