As we awoke this morning there was a heavy misty fog coming off the lake. It in itself was quite mystifying, but by noon it had begun to lift. Lunch was BBQ chicken breasts and fettuccine Alfredo, with raw veggies and dip which was quickly devoured by the rental group before they left. Once again the property was quiet and the picturesque scene as we looked out over the lake, was breathtaking!! It was just like a glass mirror reflection. It made us think about our lives and how we long to be a reflection of Christ more and more as we serve here at camp. We are being transformed more each day as we just "do what we do" with a smile and a willing heart.
2 Corinthians 3:17&18
17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 18 And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
The afternoon was quite relaxing. David enjoyed an hour long canoe ride with a few other staff members. Tomorrow is a day off so we will be headed to the "big" city again....yeah...going to Tim Horton's.
