The Wheels Keep Turning

OK...so in case we haven't said it enough, it's busy (crazy) here at camp.

Today was the 39th annual Cyclathon. Approx. 80 people rode their bikes from Steinbach to camp to raise money for projects and campership funds. Unbelieveable...by car this is a two and a half hour ride, so it took most cyclists between 4 and 6 hours. Thankfully it was a beautiful day (after having major rainstorms yesterday) and the wind was behind the riders so the inexperienced cyclists were counting their blessings. Once they arrived at camp there were many activities to participate in. The young at heart hit the waterfront for swimming, skiing and wakeboarding and the camp also rented a hot tub to soothe aching muscles.
The "famous" Red Rock homemade pizza was served for supper. Over 550 pieces were consumed...have to admit here that as staff we are getting really tired of this meal but groups request it almost once or twice a week. It's quite the production in the kitchen when making pizza for a large group...pans and cheese everywhere!

As we've also mentioned before....we really miss our church family fellowship and would ask that you would keep us in your prayers. We feel very "thirsty" here and are constantly asking God to meet our needs. So to be assured that others are thinking of us and praying too...is like a great big hug....and we miss that too.
