Quiet

Well today was a beautiful day with the sun shining quite brightly on the snow. Since we have no groups here until tommorow we decided to take some time and go for a walk. There is a fairly long road into the camp so we walked that to the main highway and back. The camp dogs followed us about half way but then turned around and went back to sit in the sun out front of the lodge. As we were walking we just stopped and were suddenly struck by how quiet and still things were in the bush. No noise, not even the hum of a snowmobile in the distance. Just peace and quiet. Awwwww if only we could capture these moments and use them in the future when we are seeking for the same feeling.
Psalm 46:10 says "Be still and know that I am God" Do we stop often enough to be still and recognize God in all that is around us? He is always with us even in the busyness of life.
