"We wish you a Merry Christmas, We wish you a Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year"
Ofcourse if you listened carefully you would have heard the 2 part harmony sweetly chiming across the computer airwaves. We actually haven't done that much carol singing yet, except for at our staff Christmas party last night and that was a silly game version.
We are headed to Winnipeg tonight to stay overnight, as our flight to Toronto leaves early in the morning. We are looking forward to being in Ontario for a few days and seeing some friends and family over this holiday time.
Today was spent finishing up alot of last minute details around camp. We have a group of International Students who come for the 22-24th to celebrate Christmas and then the summer staff reunion is held on the 30th and 31st. Then before we know it we will be in full Winter Camp mode with 10 groups using the facility in January alone. (By the way...if anyone is every wanting to come to Manitoba and volunteer in the kitchen, just let Sonya know...she would welcome you with open arms....and you'd get fed too!)
So at this of year it is easy to forget the true meaning of Christmas. We urge you all to take time to reflect on the night of Christ's birth. He came into this world as a lowly baby but remains our Saviour and King. Enjoy the food, presents, and time with family and friends and may God richly bless you during this season.
