They Call This The Off Season?

(Dave here) So we are in the depths of November and our life is still hectic. Each day at camp is constant. I am busy with the "project", putting additions on 7 cabins, 2 of which have to be raised 2 to 3 feet to accomodate the plumbing. Doing this on the Canadian Shield in winter just makes it that more challenging. I have 3 other fellows working with me now and some volunteer groups are coming on weekends soon, so the work is progressing.

Sonya and her head cook are keeping busy. Inventory, cleaning, labeling and organizing as well as cooking for the work crews. They have a couple of groups coming soon to look after also.

We are still fighting the battle of the boxes and trying to set up our household... hard to do at night when we have had a full day. The staff here calls this the off season.. I guess it depends on the point of view...and the actual season, because summer will be crazy busy.

Please pray for safety and strength to do all the tasks ahead of us and also time to enjoy life. We know this is where we are supposed to be and feel blessed by the many ways God provides for us.
