Blog?? What Blog?

Oh ya....this one..opps! (insert rolling eyes, a slight turn of the head and some sheer embarrassment)

We can't believe that 2 weeks has slipped by. It seems that each day one of us asks, what day is it? or what's the date today? You see "camp time" is like a time zone of it's own....really!


Life has been quite hectic here, so here a few highlights:

-one weekend work team came and helped on the cabin project, which kept David multi-tasking the whole time.
-two more retreat groups ate Sonya's cooking.....and left camp unharmed.
-our precious new niece "Lily Faith Fenn" was born in Barrie on Nov.3rd
-we had a staff and board vision meeting, looking ahead up until 2012
(We enjoyed this very much because we were able to meet a few of the board members whom we didn't meet in May)
-did we mention our new adorable niece??
-Sonya caught a 6am flight out of Winnipeg to Toronto so she could visit "Miss Lily" and the family for 3 sleeps. It was a very special time for her.
-we moved (again)...finally into our permanent home here at camp. Ofcourse it was a perfect snowy, windy, and slippery moving day but by 10pm we were sleeping in our bed. PTL!!
-we celebrated David and Terra-Lee's (the maintenance director's wife) birthdays by taking a drive down a winding road further into the WhiteShell Provincial Park until we came to this Lodge that had a saltwater pool and HOT TUB!! What a much needed blessing...we will be returning for sure.

So we continue to focus on the goodness of God as we look around at all the beauty that we get to experience everyday. We are adjusting to our "new normal"...but still missing church!
